How do I keep lab PDFs and prescriptions in one place?

Lab reports and prescriptions in Delhi usually arrive as paper, WhatsApp images, or a PDF from the lab counter or email. You can keep your own copies in a folder you control (phone Files, a cloud drive, or a dedicated health folder). PatientSaathi does not store family records on this site yet, and Ask Sathi is a demo, not a locker.

A simple way to organise what you already have

  1. Make one folder per person (for example `Mom`, `Dad`, `Child`).
  2. Inside each, use year folders, then short file names: `2026-08-19-thyrocare-cbc.pdf`, `2026-07-02-max-saket-rx.jpg`.
  3. Keep the original PDF when the lab gives one. A photo of a printout is a backup, not a replacement.
  4. Save the lab name, UHID / patient ID, and the date on the file name so a new clinic can find it.
  5. Do not send the whole folder into random chat groups. Share one file at a time with the doctor you are seeing.

Official source

There is no national website that downloads every Delhi hospital or lab file. The official place to ask for a copy is the records desk of the hospital or lab that created it. ABDM / ABHA is the National Health Authority’s digital-health rail at abdm.gov.in — creating an ABHA number does not give PatientSaathi your file. This page is information only.

What this is not

This is not a live PatientSaathi health locker. It is also not ABHA or an official ABDM locker. Those are national digital-health services described at abdm.gov.in. Creating an ABHA number does not upload your files to PatientSaathi.

People also ask

Not a doctor. This page is health-admin information for people in Delhi. It is not a diagnosis, a prescription, or a care plan. PatientSaathi does not store your records and does not book doctors on this site. If you feel unwell, talk to a licensed doctor. For a medical emergency in India, contact 112.
